Beloved father of Lionel of Mississauga, Alcide, Herman and Jules of Penetanguishene, Valen- tine Desroches of Lafontaine, Zita Petrie of Orr Lake, and Solange Perrault of Willowdale, he was born in Lafontaine and lived the last 34 years of his life in Penetanguishene. He was pre-deceased by another son, Rosaire. Mr. Desroches was a member of the Penetanguishene Senior Citizens. He is also survived by a brother, Martin' of Penetanguishene, and sisters Jeanne Gignac of Perkinsfield and Sister Elianne Desroches of Penetanguishene. He was pre-deceased by three brothers and _ three sisters. He leaves behind 26 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services were held August 24 at St. Ann's Church, Penetanguish- ene.
