The PUC had been con- sidering drilling a well to supply water to the town but at a special meeting Monday the commission decided not to drill this year. "J think we should look into it further next year and take a gradual approagh rather than financially embarrassing ourselves by trying to get it in this year," said com- missioner Dick Platt. The PUC has already drilled one well this year and a second would stretch the 1976 budget beyond its limits. This second well was not planned for in this year's budget, said controller Bill Smith. Plans will be carried out next spring for the number 11 well development. "It is the responsibility of this committee to provide enough deep well water. for the town of |Midland," said chairman Paul , Quilty. GET READY ! GET SET! GET STARTED!
