Explanatory Note This is an-Explanatory Note in connection with the Ontario Municipal Board's Appointment for Hearing set for December 13, 1976. The town of Penetanguishene has previously published in the Penetanguishene Citizen and mailed to individuals specified by the Board, a Notice of Hearing relating to the parent zoning by-law 1975-20. The parent by-law contains some technical matters which Council felt should be amended and this was done by by-law 1976-22 which is sometimes referred to as a house-keeping by-law. The Municipality proposes that the amendments in the housekeeping by-law are to be heard by the Board on December 13, 1976 at the same time that the Board hears the parent by-law. This Notice by the Board therefore, is to inform the citizens that by-law 1976-22 is also scheduled to be heard by the Board on December 13, 1976. Notice The Tay-Victoria Harbour Volunteer Fire Department will accept applications for one volunteer firefighter. Explanatory Note This is an Explanatory Note in connection with the Ontario Municipal Board's Appointment for Hearing set for December 13th, 1976. In November 1974 an Official Plan for the Town of Penetanguishene, which designated areas for future land use, was approved by the Minister of Housing. The next step in the planning process was to implement the policies of the Official Plan by means of a zoning by-law. Zoning By-law 1975-20 was passed by Council on April 29th, 1975. As a result of information received, an amendment was found necessary, specifically with respect to a reduction in ground floor area requirements for certain zones. This amendment was passed on July 28th, 1975, as By-law 1975-44, and after its first publication in September 1975, public meetings were held. The Ontario Municipal Board has now established a hearing date for the purpose of hearing any and all parties interested in supporting or opposing either one of these by-laws. Notice of the hearing is being specifically mailed to all persons who lodged' ob- jections with the municipality, to the local Planning Boards, and is being published in the local newspaper to give this information to the ratepayers as a whole in the municipality. Notice Sewage Disposal Installations The deadline for inspection fo sewage disposal systems by the Simcoe County District Health Unit is December 1st, 1976. Further inspections will not be carried out until weather conditions permit in the spring of 1977.
