Pat and Gary Simpson and children visited with Mr. and Mrs. Clare Bechta of Orillia over the weekend. The Cubs, Brownies and Girl Guides met up at the Public School on Dec. 22nd to go Christmas Carrolling. Afterwards the Guides went back to the school where they exchanged gifts, had a party and luncheon. The Brownies went back to the church Hall with the Cubs and Santa arrived. Santa gave out the presents 'and candy canes to all the children. Everyone played games sang songs and a lun- cheon of cookies, cakes and pops were served. On Dec. 21 the Victoria Harbour Public School held a very successful Christmas concert. The auditorium was packed to standing room only and not very much of that. Mr. Muxlowe the prin- cipal greeted everyone and pointed out the new wooden structures on the wall for climbing and how through volunteer help they were able to have them, much more reasonably. As it was too late to have the turkey draw that evening, it was held the next morning. The winners of the 4 turkeys were Kim Dakin, Joseph Carrierre, Ron Summers, and Cathy Craig. Joan Evans from the University of Toronto and Eleanor Leveque visited with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Charles Evans over the holidays. Mrs. Marg Evans visited her mother in Toronto for a couple of days. Mr. and Mrs. George Connelly visited also with the Evans. Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Belcher and Lorraine, Mr. and Mrs. Bud Todd and Mrs. John Todd of Midland, plus Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pearsall attended the wedding of Miss Anne McDonald and Greg Alexander in Wesley United Church in Weston Ont. While down in Toronto they all took a trip up the new C.N. Tower and thoroughly enjoyed it. Ebbie Belcher will be home at Christmas to visit with her parents Lorne and Teresa Belcher. Mr. and Mrs.> Joel Brousseau and girls spent the holiday in North Bay with relatives and then brought Lorne and Annette Peterson and boys from Saskatchewan back with them for a few days. Katherine Russell and daughters, formerly Katherine Eplett is spending Christmas in Canada with her family, while Harold is overseas. Wayne and Heather Gerry of Sarnia are visiting with Paul and Lorraine Kindy for the holidays. Glenn and Marion Gerry will be staying in Wyevale with Marions' parents but have visited with the ue s on and off. cont'd from p. 6 French and family of Elmvale. Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Brian Jones and family visited with Mr. and Mrs. Jack McKee and family of Minesing: Mr. and Mrs. Bill Russell of London spent Friday with Mr. and Mrs. hn Isaac before leaving a holiday in Florida. Visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Woods during the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Ross Woods Tammy and Sherry of Sarnia and Mrs. Gertrude Green of Toronto. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Drury and family of Crown Hill, Bernice Vasey of Barrie and Jan Vasey of Hamilton spent Christ- mas Day with Mr. and Mrs. Ted Vasey. Mr. and Mrs. Emerson Clement and Jim Lyle of Orillia spent Christmas with Mr. and Mrs. Arley Taylor and family.; Mr. and Mrs. Ron Devitt and Douglas of Oshawa are spending this week with Mrs. Wm. Taylor.
