Community Centre 'go' for Coldwater Fair by E. Lorraine Orr Will the Coldwater Community Centre be repaired in time for the Fall Fair September 30, was the query of the members attending the Agricultural Society meeting last week. The President Elmer Gratrix and Vice-president John Orr were delegated to meet with the executive of the Community Centre Board to obtain definite information on _ this' problem. They were assured that the tender agreement would include a stipulation that all workmen and material would be cleared from the arena and area from September 27 to October 2 inclusive. A motion was passed increasing by 25c per entry, all prizes in the School Fair. Ten new display tables are to be made by John Orr. These tables are 5%" plywood with detachable metal legs, to allow for easy storage. Requests are already arriving for display booths in the arena and John Jennett was once again appointed to supervise the alloting of this space. Each of these service clubs have pur- chased blocks of tickets for the 3rd Annual Parade of Harmony, to be held at Midland Secondary School on Saturday, April 30th. The Huronia Harmonizers placed 13th, quite an achievement considering that they had only 21 men on stage.
