Waste no time, look into the children's summer program offered to you by the Midland Y's Men's Club. These summer activities will be divided into three categories in order to keep each age group divided, interested and actively involved throughout July and August. The playground program offered to those 6 to 8 years is located at Little Lake Park and operates from July 5 to the 29th. Your youngster may register for the first two weeks and the last two. Every child will be exposed to a number of outdoor activities and will benefit a great deal from his/her camping ex- perience. Some of the activities included in the month long program are: swimming instruction, rowing, games, crafts, parents nights, special events and much more. Specialized and trained staff will be available to plan a fun and educational program for your youngster. The day camp functions for both boys and girls aged 9 to 11 years and its location is at Georgian Sands Park - Lafontaine. Youngsters are asked to meet at the Y.M.C.A. Hugel Ave. at 9 a.m. sharp to catch the bus going to our second location each and every morning. This camp also operates during the month of July, and again participants have .a choice of the first two weeks or the last two. Our day camp gives campers an understanding and appreciation of the out- door life as well as sharing experience with other campers. Activities included into the daily program are: canoeing, archery, games, crafts, sleep-outs, nature study, etc. Make sure your son' or daughter doesn't miss out on camp this year. The adventure camp for those 12 to 15 years consists of two canoe trips which will be taken the first two weeks of August. This program com- mences with a training program including: water safety, canoe in- struction, swimming, camp crafts, etc... and is followed by a thirty mile trip taken over a period of three days. These canoeists will be exposed to wild life, companionship, and getting along with others. For further details on any of the above programs contact 'Anne Bourgeois at 526-7828'. Register now!
