The mishap is still under investigation Gas tanks stolen Gas tank thieves struck the Beausoleil Island area with vengence on the weekend. Midland 0.P.P responded to no less than nine calls involving gas tanks stolen from boats Boat recovered As a result of an in- vestigation conducted by Simcoe 0O.P.P and Midland O.P.P., James Frederick Roxburgh, 47, of no specified address has been charged with possession of stolen property. Mr. Roxburgh was found in possession of a 20 foot Starcraft boat that was stolen from the Simcoe area sometime in May, police said. Camping gear stolen Camping equipment and fishing gear valued at $250.00 was reported stolen from the boat of Bruce Acheson, 47, which was moored at South Bay Although the theft was reported August 7, police surmise that it actually occurred last month Cottage break-ins Two Cawaja Beach cottagers were the vic- tims of separate break and entries, Midland O.P.P. report.
