Charged is John Francis Wilcox of Toronto. Wilcox was charged at 4:40 p.m. on Friday, December 9 with possessing an auto which was reported stolen in Toronto at 9 a.m. the previous day. Wilcox is awaiting trial. Failing to signal charge A two car crash which occurred on Dominion Avenue at 12:40 p.m. on Saturday, December 10 resulted in $500 damage to one of the vehicles involved, and a charge of failing to signal while decreasing speed being laid against a Penetanguishene man. Police say that cars driven by Todd Lewis of Penetanguishene and Wilfred Pilon of Midland were both travelling eastbound on Dominion presently Avenue when the Lewis car suddenly stopped without signalling, causing the Pilon vehicie to smash into its rear. Lewis' car received no damage in the mishap, while the Pilon auto sustained $500 damage. There were no injuries. Colborne charged Midland Police have charged a Colborne Street man with failing to yield from a private entrance following a mishap which occurred December 10, at 3:00 p.m. Police say that William Stevens was pulling out of a driveway on Bay Street when a car driven by Douglas Stewart of Victoria Harbour passed by, and unable to stop soon enough apparently crashed in to his auto. Icy driveway mishap Cars driven by Fred Heh] of Penetanguishene and Marilyn Minifie of Midland came into collision on Eighth Street, December 11 at 1:30 p.m. Police say that Hehl was backing from steep icy driveway when his car slid into the Minifie vehicle. Hehl's car was damaged $500, and Minifie's vehicle received $100 damage. No charges were laid. Parked car mishap At noon on December 11 a car driven by Heather Brunelle of Bayview Drive in Midland crashed into a parked car belonging to Lloyd R. Scott of Birchwood Drive. Police say the accident occurred when the Brunelle auto attempted to stop at the intersection of Bayview and Bir- chwood Drive, skidded, and smashed Scott's car, which was parked on Birchwood Drive. Icy road conditions were blamed for the accident, which resulted in the Brunelle car receiving $500 in damage, and the Scott car, $50.
