White legs and white arms, hidden in dark clothes during the winter months were bared to the first warm rays of the summer sun. Frisbees, bare feet, babies in carriages, bicyclers crazy with the freedom of spring, and motorcycles were all part of the Little Lake experience this week. Out at the beaches things weren't quite as active. The ice is gone and the sand is warm, but so far the sun worshippers haven't been lured out of their winter hideaways. At least one area golf course, early birds were out practicing their rusty strokes this week, despite the fact that snow patches still dotted the course. Spring has sprung there is no doubt about that. Summer isn't far behind--hopefully. Ed Fournier doesn't care that sections of the golf course are still dotted with unmelted snow.
