ed ae ee Ne po A def a + New parks is a team effort by John Dennis Those of you who travel No. 27 Highway, have no doubt noticed the new park that Wyebridge is working hard to develop. In a combined effort the Wyebridge Hall, Parks and Recreation Boards, have thus far managed to build a new baseball diamond and erect new playground equipment. Doug Reynolds, who heads up the entire project has no lack of enthusiasm and get-up- and-go. The Wyebridge Hall Board held their June meeting last Wednesday night. Reynolds acting in his capacity of president has a very competent committee working under him who are dedicated to developing the new park and thereby giving the youth of Wyebridge a spacious play area. Another' dismal turnout was on hand Sat. June 21 to clean up the park. This time though the clean up went as scheduled and an excellent job was done by those in at- tendance. Unfortunately her husband was working and therefore was unable to ac- company them. Toronto's gain is Wyebridge's loss. That best sums up the feelings of the many locals who feel sad- dened at the departure of Reverend Alan Kirk. The Wardens and Past Wardens of the Church of the Good Shepherd attended a farewell supper held at the Rectory. Rev. Kirk will truly be missed and he takes with him the best wishes and sin- cerest blessing of the entire village.
