5 Port McNicoll council if Port MeNicoll Council decided Tuesday night to hold up a decision on whether or not a question concerning the voters' support or non-support of the recent decision to build a French high school in Penetanguishene should be placed on the ballots in the municipal elections in November. The matter will now wait until a special meeting can be arranged for council when more members are present. Reg Quesnelle was against the form the question was taking, stating that it would be "ia lakays Fr. schoolissue vote "4 y a: * aa - on the ballots, adding that it was nothing more than a "petition" if printed there."' Quesnelle reiterated his stand against the move, declaring that he would not reverse his opinion. The matter was brought up in a resolution in an earlier council meeting last month, but Quesnelle reminded the council that it was a majority vote, not a unanimous decision.
