Malibus play heads-up volleyball Commodore Hotel Malibus' ladies vollevball team played their first exhibition games Wednesday night. Although their spiking and blocking has im- proved, they went down in defeat to Orillia Cragg Insurance in their first set, losing both games 15-8 and 15- 8. Their second set didn't go much better either as Scott Printing O.V.A. won both games 15-5 and 15-6. Heads-up volleyball was displayed by the Malibus- but they seemed to tire near the end of the evening. Should the team build up their endurance and skills even further, they look like a team that will be hard to beat. The riders were helped immensely by the grooms and ring crew who went along for the dav and proved to be an important part of the ieam. The Malibus will play next on Oct. 29 in Base Borden where they will take on Base Borden and Cookstown. Their next home game will be Nov. 12 at Midland Y.M.C.A.
