Obituary Death occurred on Oct. 22, 1980 of Mrs. Claircy Gignac, following a_ lengthy illness. Mrs. Gignac, whose maiden name was Marion, passed away at Georgian Manor in her 83rd vear. She was born in Lafontaine and lived her entire life in the Penetanguishene area. Her parents, George Marion and Philomene Lesperance, and her husband Armand Gignac all predeceased her Mrs. Gignac was a member of the Ladies of St. Ann's and funeral services were there conducted on Oct. 25. Services were of- ficiated over by Father V. Laurin, with burial later at St. Ann's Cemetery, Mrs. Gignac is_ sur- vived by five sons; Andrew, of Willowdale, Martin, of Hamilton, George, of Midland, Oroinveli a. of Gravenhurst, and Marcellin, of Penetanguishene. She is also survived by daughters Rita, GIVE Te Siz Ralph Ladouceur) of Scar- borough; Jeanne, (Mrs. Geral Dorion) of Midland; Edna (Mrs. Jack Calhoun) of Midland; Florence (Mrs. Doriste Desroches) of Lafon- taine: Evelyn (Mrs. Leo Lesperance) of Perkinsfield and Julia CoM Ss Ernest Ladouceur) of Penetanguishene. In addition the late Mrs. Gignac is survived by three sisters; Leona (Mrs. Edmond Quesnelle) of Midland; Emelda (Mrs. Hor- midas Laurin) of Lafontaine and Rochele (Mrs. Eudege Robitaille) of Port Colborne. One brother also survives; Jean-Baptiste Marion of Lafontaine. Obituary Louise Marie formerly Mrs. McNamara, Marie Louise Lalumiere, (Light), passed away Oct. 18, 1980 at Providence Villa. Scarborough, Ontario. Mrs. McNamara, whose last residence was 68 Harris Park Drive. Apt. 110, Scar- borough, Ont., died in her 90th year, following a brief illness. She was born in Tiny Township, to Pierre Lalumiere and Leona Leblanc, both deceased. Raised and living most of her life in Penetanguishene, she spent the last 40 years in Toronto. Mrs. McNamara was married in 1911, in Penetanguishene, to James McNamara, who also predeceased her. In addition to being predeceased by her parents and husband, Mrs. McNamara was predeceased by two sons. Howard and Francis; by two brothers, Theophile and" Aime Light, and by three sisters, Albina Dennis, Josephine McLaughlin and Exilda Beauchamp. She leaves one son, Gerald McNamara, of Midland and a sister, Celina Gendron of Cookstown. Other surviving family members in- clude four daughters; Veronica Quigley and Obituary Mrs. Gignac leaves 40 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. As well as_ being predeceased by her husband and parents, Marguerite McNamara, (both of Toronto); Laurine McLeish, of Sebright and Alice Muldoon of Noyac, Long Island. Mrs. Gignac was also predeceased by a daughter, Theresa Gignac, four sisters; Angeline Maurice, Albertine Mrs. McNamara is also survived by six grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Miss Robitaille was Dionne cil ion Penetanguishene to Lionel and Lorraine Robitaille, and she lived all her life in the town. She was single, and in her 19th year at the time of her death.
