Amos returned to Medonte reeve's chair Reeve Ingram Amos was returned to office in Monday's balloting following a challenge by former councillor David Walker, as Medonte Township voters took to the polls in this municipal election. Final count for the two men was 814 for Amos and 629 for Walker. According to the township clerk, voting in this election seemed to be down quite a bit exact number of residents who cast ballots, but of the eligible 3,979, he feels a small percentage at- tended the polls. _In the race for the three available council seats in the township, onlv one incumbent managed to retain his seat. Final tally in that confrontation was Beard 634 and Wells 602.
