------ 1 eth eet ee Missionary nurse returns home Miss Lois Belsey, missionary nurse to primitive people in Irian Jaya, Indonesia, will speak this Sunday in both services of her home church, The Alliance Church, Midland. Miss Belsey first sent to Vietnam as a missionary nurse in 1974. She was still in language study when the country fell under communist control. After ministering in Thailand, and then a brief visit home she went to Indonesia in 1976. She was assigned to Hitadipa, Irian Jaya, which is a remote mission station among stoneage Moni tribesmen. Lois and her co-worker, Miss Lorna Farnsworth, R.N., served in a medical clinic there and Lois taught a women's class in a Bible School. Their only contact with the outside world was by shortwave radio and their only means of transportation in and out over the rugged mountainous terrain was by small aircraft. Decor union negotiations continuing Negotiations were continuing yesterday and will likely continue into next week as Decor Metal Products of Midland and UAW Local 1411 attempt to come to terms on a new contract. Meanwhile it has been learned that at least two dozen Decor employees working in the Penetanguishene plant were laid off earlier this month.
