Contact A Christmas gift 526-9333 Much has been written over the years about Christmas: - the joy of giving to the less fortunate, the sharing of time and love with your fellow men; but have you ever heard about the Christmas Wish? St. John's United Church in Victoria Harbour started the Christmas Wish several years ago and like all things it has grown and now encompasses a large area far exceeding the boundaries of the Harbour and takes in all the surrounding countryside for many miles. The Christmas Wish is strictly for the children of the area. Each of us must remember as children how we wished for some particular truck or doll and how sometimes we were lucky and we got our wish or sometimes how disappointed we were because there was just not enough money for the luxury of even a small toy. St. John's United Church members and the Rev. Kim Warne do not want any of the less fortunate children to not have that special Christmas wish this year. Therefore, your financial donations are needed so that there will not be any sad and disappointed children in our area this year. If you wish to mail in a monetary gift, earmark it "Christmas Wish" and send it to St. John's United Church, Victoria Harbour or Contact, Box 423, Midland. Just think about the shining eyes of a little child when that special wish comes ture. Love wasn't put in your heart to stay. Love isn't love 'til you give it away. Happiness is helping people to help themselves. Mary M. Gibson, Administrator. 4 + h isla BP ie OP Pine Mountain King with patented hook-on branch construction for quick assembly.
