Orangeville provided the second loss as they hustled to a 3-1 victory. Scott Bales rapped in the single score for Midland in that game. The Midland crew displayed improved determination and effort during their two matches but th effort was misplaced as the individual style of play was not enough to ward off the team attacks provided by the op- position. The duo of defeats makes it four ina row as the team has been outmaneuvred in their last eight games for a total of 30 goals to 12. Barrie pumped in four more goals then as Midland's' defence seemed to disintegrate. Midland organized themselves enough to stop Barrie while they scored a goal of their own. Bill Arbour popped the puck in the net for Midland on the play with Spiker getting the assist. Barrie rounded off the scoring in the second period with one more goal to make the score 7- ae third period with three quick goals. Big scorer for Parry Sound was Jeff Barks with three goals, one of those unassisted. Midland just couldn't get up enough steam at this time and Barrie scored two more goals in the third period to finalize the score at 9-3. One shining point of the game was that only eight minutes in penalties were called on Midland, six of those to Larry Trottier. The on-again, off- again performance of the Athletics is definitely puzzling to their fans and must be solved before it is too late to correct this problem. In het for Penetanguishene, Paul Goodine faced 32 shots while Penetanguishene fired 30 shots on Parry Sound's Ian Gallagher. It was a particularly rough game with 55 minutes in penalties being handed out bet- ween the two teams. Of those 55 minutes, 28 were given to Penetanguishene. The majority of penalties were for roughing with an un- sportsmanlike conduct being given to Gerry Lethbridge of Penetanguishene and a game misconduct handed to Brian Emery of Parry Sound. Penetanguishene Kings will play in Bracebridge Friday night, that game getting under way al 8:30 p.m. CANFARM ¥ Price Introductory Offer Tax time. Financial Management.
