Travel News, Views Epirotiki Lines expanding its cruises by Carol Crawford Epirotiki Lines is expanding its cruise to Egypt and Israel introduced in 1980. In 1981 the series of seven day Mediterranean Odyssey cruises embarks from Piraeus on Feb. 16 and runs through Nov. 23 for a total of 41 sailings. Ten cruises have been added for the new year. A call in Turkey is being added to the itinerary, which already includes Israel, Egypt and the Greek Islands. This now makes the cruise a four country venture, but with the convenience that no visas are required by participants. The ship gets a blanket visa to cover all passengers as a group. The cruise is being operated by the MTS Jupiter, a vessel of 9,000 tons. Rates for this four country Mediterranean Odyssey cruise range from $675 US per person sharing a cabin for three or four to $1,640 for superior accommodation. Carousel Tours to Las Vegas Carousel Tours has been appointed the exclusive wholesaler for Republic Airlines to Las Vegas using Toronto as a gateway. At present, Republic Airlines is the only scheduled airline offering direct, one stop service to and from Las Vegas with the following flight times.
