Final outcome of the game was an 11-3 win for the Elmvale squad. Wyevale charged into the first period of play and scored the first goal at the 15:40 mark. The point, scored by Craig Beacock, was assisted on by Mike Trace and Peter Beacock. Steelers came back to tie the score two minutes later on a play by Ike Columbus from Tom McGinnis and moved into the lead two more minutes later on an effort by Colyn with Raven __ assisting. Elmvale never gave up the lead after that point. Another Steeler point came at 10:05,~an unassisted goal from Tim McGinnis and Wyevale's Mike Trace retalliated at 8:57 on a pass from Roger Hall. Elmvale completed the scoring action in the first period when Tom McGinnis and _ Ike Columbus' again combined for a single point. The second period of hockey action was a little closer as Wyevale opened the scoring and managed to keep the Steelers down to just two goals. Peter Beacock managed the point for Wyevale late in the period on an assist from Mike Trace before Elmvale's Larry Sacchetti banged in his first point of the game. Kevin Fleming assisted on the Sacchetti goal along with Tom .00 2 00 SHOPPING SPREE GRAND PRIZE WINNER Olive Belcourt, 96 Water St., Penetang 949-8870 PENETANGUISHENE MERCHANTS McGinnis and Fleming and McGinnis also combined just a minute later to score one more for the Steelers. This time Sacchetti assisted them. Scoring The final period of action was all Steelers' as the Elmvale squad Jasons Dept. Store Maurice Furniture & Appliances Ted Light's TV Sales & Service E.R. Fashions Village Square I.D.A. Pharmacy gue hockey cornered the market on scoring and managed a total of five more points. Final score in the match was a whopping 11-3 for the Steelers.
