Wyebridge news ACW comes up with new format by Liz and John Dennis Last Thursday evening the Anglican Church Women of Wyebridge held a meeting and decided to dispense with their past practice of holding an afternoon meeting and an evening one. Under their new format, members plan to meet as one group. One month's meeting will be held during the afternoon, with the following month's meeting held in the evening. Officers for the ACW include: Ruth Curry, President; Pauline Reynolds, Secretary; and Marion Fallis, Treasurer. This coming Saturday the Wyebridge Com- munity Centre will be hopping to the sounds of the Northern Edition as they will supply the music to another Wyebridge dance. Tickets are $9 per couple and a lunch will be served after the dance. Last weekend we had the pleasure of having David. Doris, Douglas, Chad and Andrew Webster as _~ dinner guests. David, Doris and sons are residents of Midland Bay Woods. Walter Carpenter spent a few days in the hospital recently, where he regained his health and strength under doctors' care. Walter is home now and we welcome his return to the village. Feb. 7 was again a great success. Many from the com- munity and surrounding area attended and had a very enjoyable night out.
