Elementary _ school pupils from _ Kin- dergarten to Grade 8 from approximately 15 local schools will have the opportunity to compete in this exhibition. To ensure that children from all ages have an equal op- portunity there will be a separate division for Kindergarten and Grade 1 entries, Grades 2 and 3 entries, Grade 4, 5 and 6 entries and Grades 7 and 8 entries. In addition to these divisions the Grades 4, 5 6, 7 and 8 pupils have a choice of categories. In past years several local donated prizes. Health Screening Clinics have been conducted by the Nurses of the Simcoe County District Health Unit for the past several years. About 50 per cent of school starters have been seen, and they would like to see every child who is to enter kindergarten in Sep- tember. The purpose of the clinic is to detect and correct health problems as early as possible, so that the child's learning will not be impeded. Children born in 1976 are eligible for the clinics.
