He was predeceased by a half sister Ada Lamb (Bell) as well as two infants Irene and Lawrence. Relatives and friends attended the services from Elmvale, Thorn- ton and Barrie. He was a. widower. Born in England, he was married on June 25, 1924, in Midland, where he then resided. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Two sisters, Agnes Major of Toronto and Pat Saunders, also of Toronto, survive him. There were five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
