Handy Sr. was guest of honour at a Winter camp attended by William Nutbrown March 14 and 15, the Seouts from South Georgian Bay District held their winter camp ° at) Camp Wildman, which is situated on Concession 8 of Tiny Township. This camp was postponed from an earlier date because of rain A total of 50 Scouts and leaders attended the winter camp. Troops came from Ist and 2nd Midland, Port MeNicoll, Wvevale and Elmvale. The groups arrived Saturday morning to set up their campsites. The flag break and camp opening lead right into the affernoon activitiés. The boys had a great time on the Obstacle Course. which was difficult, and a_ real challenge. Another good learning experience the bovs had as one of the activities was First Aid and Rescue Operation. The evening sing song provided opportunity for the Scouts from various groups to mingle together and get to know each other. We all awoke to a bright Sunday morning with no real casualties from the winter's night. - There was a quiet time thaf morning where several Scout Own's services were con- ducted. On to the morning activities which in- volved a field game, kick and run. The camp divided into four teams, plaving in a round robin.
