y jj tify For the fun they run -- Fifty-two joggers turned out Sunday at the split off into different routes, depending on four mile, six mile, or eight mile run. The majority of those runners only joined in the last two days of registration though. There were 18 runners in the two mile run with another 15 in the four mile run. In the six mile run, there were 12 runners, with the remaining seven in the eight mile run. Prizes in the two mile division were awarded to Ian Porter and Fred Melnyk who received jogging socks while Bill Northcott and Richard Pady each got a YMCA T-shirt. In the four mile run, Jason Brown and David Langridge each received jogging socks with Rob Richardson picking up a YMCA T- shirt. William Boulanger and Wally Ross both were awarded jogging socks in the six mile run with John Gammell getting a YMCA T-shirt. For the eight mile run, Perry Rintoul and Paul Noack received YMCA T-shirts. This has been one of the lowest turnouts for this event but all in all, those who took part had fun.
