Vasey Women's Institute Report After a delicious noon pot luck lunch, the Vasey Women's Institute opened their annual meeting. A Life Membership was presented to Mrs. Jean Lockhart. Final plans were made for the Tulip Tea. The annual minutes were read and approved. The con- venor reports were read and seconded. The election was held and the new officers were installed. A donation was sent to Coldwater Fair Board, Sunshine Sister gifts were ex- changed and voting delegates for the district Annual were chosen. Mr. and Mrs. Ross McFarland and Susan attended the 60th wedding anniversary celebration for Mr. and Mrs. Earl Brown of Midland in Waverley on Saturday. Emmaline Edwards of Toronto spent the holiday weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Manley Edwards. On Sunday they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Eric Curry of 'Wyebridge. Calvin and Eleanor Edwards also enjoyed visiting with the Curry's on Sunday. Mrs. Roy Graham of Toronto spent a few days last week with her mother Mrs. Gladys McLay. The Vasey Women's Institute held their annual Tulip Tea on April 25 at 2 p.m. in the Vasey United Church Sunday School Room. We welcome Mr. and Mrs. H. Westerlaken and family who have taken up residence on the third concession in the home formerly owned by Mrs. L. Dumais. Vasey Rod Jones of Douglas Point, Jill Robinson of Sudbury and Peter Robinson of Peterboro spent the holiday weekend at their homes here. Mrs. John Moriarty has returned home after an enjoyable _ trip aboard her husband's ship.
