Obituary A funeral service officiated by Fr. Louis Dignard, Fr. A. Quesnelle and Fr. V. Laurin was held for the late Gerard St. Amant on April 22, 1981, in St. Ann's Memorial Church in Penetanguishene. Interment was in St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. His nephews Frank St. Amant, Marty St. Amant, Ron St. Amant, John St. Amant, Gerard Desrochers and Tim Toole'were pallbearers. The late Mr. St. Amant's death follows his wife, Stella (Trot- tier) St: Amant, and his parents, Harry St. Amant and Rebecca Laurin. The resident of 25 Harriet Street, Carrollswidth | of Cedar Point Road RR 1, Perkinsfield resident William Dunford, 46, was seriously injured Friday evening when his car rolled the width of Cedar Point Road. According to the Midland OPP he was driving south on Cedar Point Road when the car's left rear tire blew out. The car went onto the east shoulder, rolled over and crossed the road, coming toa stop in the west ditch. He was taken to Huronia District Hospital in a private automobile. The accident occured just north of Concession 19. Jeep driver injured A 34-year-old Toronto man was seriously injured Sunday evening when his Jeep rolled on Muskoka Road 5 in Georgian Bay Town- ship. Midland OPP's report of the single vehicle accident states that Larry Pichette was eastbound when he swerved to avoid a group of pedestrians. Penetanguishene, was born and lived all of his life here. : His 45 years of working life went into H.S. St. Amant and Sons Plumbing and Heating. He died suddenly .at 60 years of age in Penetanguishene General Hospital on April 19, 1981. The late Gerard St. Amant was a member of the Knights of Columbus Huronia Council No. 1627 and a member of the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus Mon- seigneur Castex Assembly. He was on the board of Penetanguishene General Hospital. Surviving sons and daughters' include Peter, Joey and Tony St. Bernard St. Amant Amant '9 f Penetanguishene, and Penetanguishene, and Margaret (Mrs. Clair Nadine St. Amant of Edgar) of Chatham, Montreal and Geraldine Marie (Mrs. Lionel (Mrs. Jim Brewer) of Lacroix) of Midland.
