Adults wishing to relive childhood memories or to _ in- troduce their children or grandchildren to the magic of the big top, are invited to the A & W lacrosse wins season opener 7-2 It was a win for Midland A & W Peewee lacrosse team this past Wednesday when they travelled to Huntsville for their first league game of the season. The Midland squad rounded up seven goals to down Huntsville quite easily 7-2, Wayne Desjardin leading the team in scoring with three goals. Brad Wadge scored a pair of goals for Midland and added two assists while John Gibson and Orten Crawford each added a goal and an assist. Jason Perreault picked up a single assist for Midland in that game. Summer playground program inthe works Midland Y's Men's Club has appointed a new summer playground director. Nancy Hook of Midland will be directing the intown, weekday vacation program, named Camp Wendakay. A playground offers the perfect opportunities for a child to be entertained as well as educated in crafts and sports. The summer playground offers rewards, novel skills and friends, swimming and crafts, but most of all great outdoor fun. Camp Wendakay is now accepting registrations for the activities which begin June 30 and end Aug. ih The playground, along with 12 trained coun- sellors, begins at nine in the morning and con- tinues until 4:30 p.m. with .supervised lunch hour. It all takes place at Little Lake Park and the YMCA. Registration is now taking place at the YMCA.
