Penetang, CKVR 17-17. was a 17-17 match between _ the Penetanguishene Girls' Ball Hockey team and the CKVR Television No-Stars, Saturday night, in Penetanguishene Arena. The two teams tangled in a benefit game, at- tended by a meager crowd of 25-30 people. Other scorers for Penetanguishene were Maureen Ferguson with two goals and one assist, Patty Beausoleil with one goal and one assist, Jean Desroches with one goal, Patty Murphy with one goal, Veronica Viser with one goal, Rosie Lacroix with one goal, Pat Lorette with one goal and one assist and Nicole Bellisle with one assist. After the game, the girls from Penetanguishene presented the CKVR team with a trophy for their participation in the game. Wright leads scoring in ballhockey As of Sunday, Chris Wright of Cumming- Nicholson Stompers was leading the Penetang- Midland Senior Division Ball Hockey League in scoring with five goals and eight assists for 13 points. Second place in the scoring race belongs to four players, all four having 11 points and they are Keith Press of Dock Lunch Penguins with 10 goals and one assist, Ken Akerman of Dupuis Groceteria Leafs with six goals and five assists, Ron Lalonde of Dupuis Groceteria Leafs with six goals and five assists and George Mundy of S. Charlebois Haulage and Excavating Diggers with five goals and six assists. Third place is also Hockey claimed by more than one player, Gary Bellisle of Dupuis Groceteria Leafs and Jeff Wright of Cum- ming-Nicholson Stom- pers, both with 10 points. Bellisle has five goals and five assists while Wright has two goals and eight assists. There's a four way tie for the last four positions between Joe Beausoleil of Stewart's Gulf Oilers and three players from S.
