Mrs. Lalonde was born in Victoria Har- bour and graduated from Victoria Harbour Public School. Her parents were Alphonse St. Amant and Delphine St. Amant. In 1927 she married Rena Marie Lalonde (LaPlume) Joseph LaPlume in Victoria Harbour; in 1972 she married Joseph Lalonde in Midland. She had_ recently received a 25 year pin for membership in the Catholic Women's League.
