As of midweek the opinion of the Ministry of Housing on the proposed amendment to the area Official Plan, Official Plan amendment 23, which covers the disputed area, had not been heard of, town planner Paul Hodgins said. Representatives of the two municipalities agreed after their first, closed meeting that they would wait for the arrival of the ministry's opinion before setting a date for a second meeting. The hours' for the municipal museum through the summer season are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. seven days a week. Campaign reaches $22,000 in N. Simcoe The final figures are in from last month's Salvation Army Red Shield Campaign in North Simcoe. Nancy Keefe of Midland, the campaign committee's chairlady, reports $22,000 was raised. This year's target was $25,000.
