The Civic Centre is the base of operation and the programme will be held in Little Lake Park for children aged 11 years to 14 years. Peer | Wyevale by Jeanne Webb Mrs. Margaret Marcellus of Wyevale, along with three others fron the Sunshine Club in Elmvale, recently attended the Inter- national Senior Citizens Congress in Toronto. President of the Senior Citizens Club, Mr. Ignacious O'Hallaren, went as delegate, and also attending were Gordon Strath and Jessie Thompson. The four day stay at the Prince Hotel, where over 600 Delegates registered, were most enjoyable. All enjoyed' the meetings hosted by the United Ontario Senior Citizens. The motto chosen for the occasion was 'The Future Is Now". The convention was opened by The Honorable John Aird, Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, with his staff. The sessions were educational and most enlightening, having some very lively delegations from dif- ferent part of the world. Bus Tours of the city were offered to all the last dav. The 1982 Convention will be held in Austria. The 25th Annual Convention of the Ontario Association of Superannuated Women Teachers was held June 9,10 and 11 at the Royal Connaught Hotel in Hamilton. Those attending from Midland and District Unit of O.A.S.W.T. were Mrs. Phyllis Benson of Wyevale, Mrs. Marguerite Parker and Mrs. Muriel Dane of Midland. Victor and Lillian Hall attended the graduation at Humber College, Toronto on Saturday. Their grandaughter, Jane Beardsall, was one of the honour graduates in the Pharmacist Assistants course. She will be taking a position in Barrie. Our examination was made in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards, and accordingly included such tests and other procedures as we considered necessary in the circumstances.
