St. John's United Church was filled for services at 11:15 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, when the 99th an- niversary of the early founding of the church was observed. Guest speaker at the morning service was Rev. Robert Hiltz of Leonard (322-2120). A baby shower was held last Sunday for Becky Rawn at the home of Cindy Lockhart. It was given by Kim Stewart and Cindy Lockhart. Many friends and relatives were in attendance. Ken Lockhart received the prize for the best game of golf during a tournament held at the Brooklea Golf Club on Sunday.
