A grant for such a project is not coming from the federal government as had been hoped but it has been ascertained the funds for such a venture are available in this year's Municipal Building Reserve Account. The proposed changes have been drawn up by the town's Chief Building Inspector, Eric Buchholz with a total estimate cost of $2,300. The energy saving plan would include a wood partition with glass panels seven feet, three inches long, secured at the end wall, ceiling and top of the existing counter. It would also necessitate the building of a wooden partition five feet, two inches wide, with plywood and glass panels, secured to the floor and ceiling of the outside wall and a three feet by six feet, eight inches by one and three-quarter inch solid core birch door with upper glass panel and automatic self closer. It would mean, however, the existing light fixture and fresh air duct would have to be relocated to ac- comodate such a con- struction.
