fag fenies % Librar f News On Nov. 12 in the Reference Department, Midland Public Library Board honoured three people; two former members of the Board and the former Reference Librarian. Among the guests present were Mayor Moreland Lynn. representing, Midland council: former Chief Librarian, Mrs. Helen Delaney and members of the staff and the board. Mrs. Sheila Moore, chairman of the board, presented inscribed sketches. She expressed the gratitude of the board to Les Davidson for eight years and John Consitt for 14 years voluntary and dedicated service on the Board. The third recipient of an inscribed sketch was Miss Catharine MacKenzie. She has recently resigned from the staff after seven years as Reference Librarian. Her contribution in setting up the Reference Library and making it one of excellent reputation, will be gratefully remembered by all users of the Midland Library.
