SCBE okays new pact with staff A new one-year collective agreement between Simeoe County Board of Education and Local 330 of the Ontario Public Service Employees Union was ratified Wednesday night by SCBE trustees in Barrie. The new pact gives the school board's 247 support staff a 10 percent increment. By a better than two-to-one margin, support staff endorsed the new contract at a ratification meeting in Barrie last week. The last contract expired at the end of June.
