a 3 6 __ Police ti: eat Midland OPP have charged a 20-year-old Midland resident with aggravated assault following a weekend incident in Port McNicoll. According to OPP, police were called to the parking lot of Port McNicoll Legion early Sunday morning to investigate a disturbance. Involved subjects, police later reported, had ' dispersed before OPP arrived. However, it was discovered that Robert Quesnelle, 31, of Port McNicoll had been stabbed twice with what was believed to have been a knife. He received treatment at HDH for two wounds, one to the lower abdomen and one to the left thigh. Terry Brian Corbier of Borden Cr., Midland, has been charged. He was lodged in custody in Barrie jail following his arrest Sunday morning. He was held over until tomorrow. KK During the period April 2 - 9, Midland OPP handled a total of 70 general occurrences. Midland OPP investigated five motor-vehicle accidents during the week ending April 9, reports OPP Const. Murray Cooper, the local detach- ment's community services officer.
