On Monday night, in the ladies section on ice 2, it was Rosemary Marchand's team defeating Rita Pud- dicombe's four some by a close 9-7 score. On Ice3, it was again a high scoring affair with Connie Maurice taking a convincing 15-1 win over John Moreau. On Ice 4 Rick Mailloux's team defeated Maurice Bellisle by a 10-4 score. On Ice 4, it was the Plumber's Helpers over Beaver Lumber by a 10- 4 score. Ice 5 saw the Legion Lassie's go down to defeat by a 9-3 score at the hands of the B room Busters. The final game was a close game with the Reverso's, skipped by Gilles Cing-Mars edging out the Lion's Club 6-5 by having to play an extra end to decide the winner. In Thursday night Men's competitive we again have no scores to mention, only' the winners by the number of ends taken. In the A Division it was Maurice Brunelle defeating Marty St. Amants's team taking 6 out of the 10 ends played. Jake Reimer was successful in defeating Al McClinton by taking 5 ends with a blank end recorded. The Desrochers rink defeated the Moreau rink by taking 7 ends out of a possible 10 ender. After two weeks of play, the Desrochers rink I@ads the pack by 3214 points. In the B division, in a- game between Woods and Reburn, we have no score to report as it was not marked on our sheets. In the other 7 p.m. game it was the Ted Ross team defeating Wade Cadeau by taking 6 ends out of 8 played. Connie Maurice's rink was successful in defeating Rick Mailloux although both teams were able to take 4 ends each. Mart Forget defeated the Bell team taking 5 and blanking one end in the game. After two weeks of play, Connie Maurice's team leads with 31 points. In Friday night's mixed on Ice 2, it was a very close game with Terry King's team defeating Chris Am- strong by a 9-8 score in an extra end after the Amstrong rink had picked up 5 in the seventh end. On Ice 3, it was an easy win for Larry Merkley's team defeating Rick Desjardins team by a as action packed week 12-4 score. On Ice 4, it was Al McClinton's team doubling the score 6-3 over Rick Moreau's foursome.
