'Always room for improvement' says Tay Reeve Tinney Incumbent reeve of Tay Township Bruce Tinney says_ that municipal government can always find ways of better serving the people. He says that he, if re-elected, will con- tinue to try to look after the interests of all Tay residents, no matter where a person lives, with equal interest and fairness. Tinney's election platform appears below: "'T would like the opportunity to help create an even more efficient and well run municipal operation. What I am saying and meaning here is that as I have always stressed, council and staff are there to serve the taxpayer, to protect their interests, to be helpful in every way possible in order to make their business with the municipality be an efficient, prompt and satisfying experience. "This is not to be overly critical of council or staff but it is to say that there is always room for improvement and that we should always be mindful of that fact. One must also realize that it is not always possible to give the answers or _per- mission that is being requested from council or staff. Certainly not in as short a time as some feel to be sufficient.' "T would like now to mention some of what my involvement with the affairs of Tay Township have been.
