Children's Wildlife Club ready' _--- for exciting 1986 The season has wrapped up for a very special club. The Children's Wildlife Club, held every fourth Saturday of the month in the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre, is one year old. The brainchild of biologist Eva Kaiser, the club is geared to showing children ages seven to 13 the wonders of nature. An enthusiastic core group of 10 children have attended regularly and anywhere up to 20 have joined in the fun of spring dipnetting, frog catching, wildflower walks and nature scavenger hunts. The new season (first meeting next Jan. 25) promises to be even more exciting. Divided now into junior (ages six to eight) and senior (ages nine and up) groups, the club welcomes helpers (teens or adults) to take part in snowshoe hikes, salamander survey, search for turtle nesting sites and other outings. The charge for each meeting is only 75 cents per child or free with membership to Friends of Wye Marsh.
