Play in the consolation round improved throughout the afternoon, peaking with the finals against Waterloo Collegiate. McMaster coach Theresa Quigley was im- pressed by the talent and skill displayed by both teams during the match. She said that 'there wasn't much difference in actual play between the championship final and the consolation final. The senior Crusaders should be proud of their efforts at this tournament, but remember, consistent play is the key. to overall success. The effective and varied setting of Currie and Lisa Quesnelle kept Waterloo offguard. Hitting by all players, kept the offence aggressive. Absence of injured starter Lorraine Lacroix, was certainly a factor in the Crusaders' overall result. Lacroix should be back in the lineup next week.
