Midland Soccer team poses dilemma for coaches by Ed Pearson The Midland Boatworks soccer team is putting a few creases in their coaches brow this year. At the same time, a smile on their faces. The team is en- joying it's most successful season in recent history. In the past six games, they have netted 17 goals and only conceded seven for a 4 - 1 - 1 wecord: the peculiar problem plaguing the coaches is a pleasant one, an over-abundance of good players. Luckily the bench is not only powerful, but also patient. Playing in the Barrie league, some players do a lot of travell- ing for twenty minutes on the field. Having a pool of players does have it's ad- vantages though. Last Monday the team travelled to Barrie to play the Op- tical team. Dave Campbell, the leading scorer, was not available to play. The team came away with a 3 -0 win. On Wednesday they played the speedy young Libyian team, Landmark.
