--Obituary Alphonse J. Dignard The late Alphonse J. Dignard of William Street, Midland, died suddenly in his home on July 28, 1986, at the age of 75 years. Mr. Dignard was born in Depot Harbour, near Parry Sound, and lived the Walter Cadeau The late Walter Cadeau died July 27, 1986 in Toronto Western Hospital, following a brief illness, at the age of 80 years. Mr. Cadeau, who was single was born in Victoria Harbour, grew up in Tiny Township and lived in Penetanguishene for many years. He had been a resi- dent of the Georgian Manor for the last three years. Delia Patenaude 'The late Mrs. Delia Patenaude died August 6, 1986 at the Pene- tanguishene General Hospital following a brief illness at the age of 85 years. Mrs. Patenaude was born in Lafontaine and had lived most of her life in 'Pene-tanguishene. She had been a resident of Poyntz Street for over 50 years. Mrs. Patenaude was a member of the Parish of St. Ann's and also a member of the Ladies of St. Anne. Funeral mass was held at St. Ann's Memorial Tom Porion The late Mr Tom Dorion died August 3, 1986 at the Beechwood Private Hospital, Pene-tanguishene following a lengthy illness at the age of 77 years. John Simms John Edward (Jack) Simms passed away at Parry Sound on Wed., July 30, 1986 at 86 years of age. Beloved husband of the late Nellie Alice Broad- bridge and the late Margaret Esther (Donna) Dale. Dear father of Lloyd Simms of Sarnia, Nina (Mrs. Lawrance Toutant) of Whitby, Bernice (Mrs. Hector Adams) of Penetanguishene, Nellie (Mrs. Charles Caswell) of Newmarket and Marion (Mrs. Howard Westlake) of Torrance. Dear father to James Dale of Parry Sound and Margaret Ann (Marnie) Mrs. Hartley Bannon) of Brantford. Dear brother of Albert Simms and Winnie (Mrs. William Garland) both of Toronto. Fondly remembered by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Rested at the Logan Funeral Home, 81 James Street, Parry Sound. Ser- vice was held from the Chapel on Fri., Aug. 1 at 3:30 p.m. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Parry Sound. earlier part of his life in Port McNicoll. He lived in Toronto for several years before returning to live in Midland some 18 years ago. A devout member of the Parish of St. Margaret's of Midland, Mr. Dignard served as a minister of communion and as a visitor of the shut-in and elderly members of St. Margaret's Parish. His funeral mass was held in St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene, on July 31, with the Most Mr. Cadeau was a member of St. Ann's Parish and served as a church usher for many years. His funeral mass was held in St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene, on July 30, with Rev. D. Picone as the celebrant. In- terment was in St. Ann's Cemetary Penetanguishene. Donald Cadeau, Larry O'Rourke, Richard Moreau, Paul, Mark and Peter Hamelin, were his pallbearers. His brother Leonard of Newburgh, Ontario, sisters Ida Asseline and Mae Bazinet, both of Penetanguishene, survive him. His parents Pierre and Militime Cadeau, brothers Sylvester, Peter, Herman, Howard, Oliver, Joe and Edward predeceased him. Church, Pene-tanguishene on August 8, 1986 with Rev.. R. Andrews as the celebrant of the funeral mass. Interment was at St. Ann's Cemetery, Pene-tanguishene. Pallbearers were: Larry Pilon, Ron Gregoire, Paul Vallee, Robert, Brent and Tim Laurin. Daughters are: Helen (Mrs. Gene Newton), Theresa (Mrs. Maurice Laurin) and Peggy (Mrs. Stan Bush), all of Pene- tanguishene, Marie (Mrs. John Busch) of Wyebridge. Sisters are Mrs. Ernestine Paradis of Penetanguishene, Oliva (Mrs. Alcide Robitaille) of Thunder Bay Beach, Soeur Helene Vallee of Cornwall. Brothers are: Ludger Vallee of Penetanguishene, Alcime Vallee of lafontaine. She is survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by her hus- band - Roy H. Patenaude, her son - Hubert R. Patenaude, her sisters - Alexina Vallee, Anna Moreau, and Alice Vallee, her brothers - Jules, Albert, and Andre Vallee. Mr. Dorion was born in Tiny Township and had lived most of his life in the Pene-tanguishene area. Funeral mass was held at St. Ann's Memorial Church, Pene-tanguishene on August 6, 1986 with Rev. R. Jacobsen as the celebrant of the funeral mass. Interment was at St. Ann's Cemetery, Pene-tanguishene. Pallbearers were: John and Venard Dorion, Gerard Mailloux, David Winter, Robert Charlebois and Dennis Crawley. Family are: wife Mrs. Mildred (Dilworth) Dorion of Penet-tanguishene. Daughters Marie Winter and Jeanne Fountain of Angus, Joan Tennant and Lorraine Dorion of Bramp- ton, Doreen Hutchinson, Donna Charlebois, Debbie Dorion and Doris Dorion all of Pene-tanguishene. Sons Ron Dorion of Utopia, Bob and Donald Dorion of Barrie, Lawrence Dorion of Hamilton, Gerald and John Dorion of Pene-tanguishene. Sister Emma (Mrs. JosephBellehumeur) of Pene-tanguishene. Survived by 15 grand- children and 3 great-grandchildren. Rev. Bishop R. Clune as the celebrant. He was assisted by Rev. L. Dignard, his brother, and by Msgr. A. Belanger. Many other priest friends of Rev. Dignard were also in atten- dance for the funeral mass. Interment was in St. Ann's Climbing the mast Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Nephews Mike, George, Joe, Brian, Danny and Mike Dignard were his pallbearers. His sons Herbert of Burl- ington, Edward of Halifax, brother: Alex of Barrie, Reverend Father L. Dignard, Pastor of St. Ann's Parish of Penetanguishene, Alfred and Arthur of Toronto, Frank of Port McNicoll, sisters Antoinette Stone of Penetanguishene and Some Midland youngsters felt a bit of the adventure of tall ships Sunday afternoon.
