The girls usually play two games Indusmin bantams The Bantams travelled to Owen Sound Saturday afternoon, only to find the game had been mysterious- ly cancelled five weeks ago. Hoping to get back in action, Indusmin went to Collingwood and played their scheduled game Sun- day afternoon. Collingwood opened the scoring, as John Smith took advantage of poor defen- sive work and his high shot beat Jason Leclair in the Midland net. With 1:08 re- maining, Bill Mitchell took a pass from Jim McLaren, moved in and his low slap- shot found the target, Gary Moore picking up the other assist. The second saw Midland score five times. Trevor Ir- vine, Chris Jones, Bill Mit- chell, Greg Lalonde, and George Gunther did the damage for Indusmin. Midland added six more in the third to win going away 12 - 1. Greg Lalonde (2) completing his hat trick, Ted French (2), Jones, and Irvine scored, while Mit- chell and McLaren each received four assists, Gun- ther 2, Jamie Peden, Jones, Chris Walser, Bryan Cadeau, Shawn Lalonde, and Greg Lalonde one each. The Games Plus team's barage of goals saw Jacob Cote, Kevin Vallee, Greg Weatherall and Keith Dell tally twice each while Leon Gignac netted the final marker for the team. Goals for the Grew team were Vance Dupuis and Kevin Henry with single tallies. The next game of the day say P.M.C.L. and Beaver Lumber in a shoot out, as they each netted seven. The first period saw P.M.C.L. jump out in front of the Kings with a 3-1 lead. Goals for the P.M.C.L. crew were Howie Monague, Tom Heatley and Ian Monague, while Taylor Summerfield netted the lone goal for the Kings. Again the powerful P.M.C.L. team outscored the Kings 3-1 in the second period, giving them a com- fortable 6-2 lead. P.M.C.L. goal scorers were Donald Cote, with Tom Heatley and Howie Monague get- ting their second of the day. The third period was a different story, as the Beaver Lumber Kings outscored the P.M.C.L. team 5-1, to tie the game at seven. Kings goal scorers were Ryan Pike, Marc Desrochers and Dale Gignac who scored a hat trick in the third period.
