Marathon classic end of month Midland Meatland's Fourth Annual MPTT Classic is scheduled for Sunday, April 26. The Midland, Penetang, Tiny, Tay Half Marathon Road Race winds through 13.1 miles (21 km.) of beautiful scenic roads. The race will begin at 1 p.m. from the Midland YMCA come rain or shine. Figure skaters The month of March was a good one and a busy one for the Penetang Figure Skating Club as 25 young skaters enjoyed success in the Canadian Figure Skating Association testing days. In a span of four days, the skaters were put through three different levels of testing. The Low Test results, which were hosted by the Penetang Figure Skating Club on March 18 were: Preliminary Figure, Patricia Lamoureux; First Figure, Danielle Labatte; Second Figure, Christel Meisinger; Preliminsry Dances, Shelley Lacroix, Lise Ann Desroches, Con- nie Grenier, Valerie Wood, Mandy Arbour, Stephanie Arbour, Lea Hodgins, Julie Carriere; Junior Bronze Dances, Bruce Ladouceur, Mandy Labatte, Keri Watt, Laurie Robillard, Pauline Butineau; Preliminary Free, Cara Deschambault, Pauline Butineau.
