After Jug City Jets had taken a 1-0 lead in games by virtue of a first game 7-4 victory, it was all Village Square IDA. Game two saw Village Square IDA Pharmacy squeak out a 3-2 victory as Rick Gordon scored the winner early in the third period. Dan Trendall and Andy Zurawski were the other goal scorers for IDA as Bill McIntosh and Steve Kennedy replied for Jug City. Game three, again was close, as two third period goals gave Village Square a 4-2 victory and a 2-1 lead in the best-of-five final.
