Black, centre, brought his daughter Kendra, right, with him from Bracebridge. Obituary Lorne Herbert Banks Funeral services were performed by Rev. Ron Hubbeard April 20 for Lorne Herbert Banks. The Midland-born man died April 16 at the age of 60. He is survived by sons Ron, Dave and Wayne Banks (all of Midland); Frederick Retired taxi owner and security guard Frederick Lorne Stewart passed away April 26 at the age of 79. Funeral services were performed by Rev. Dr. Paul Brown April 29 at Nicholls Funeral Home. Stewart spent his last moments at Huronia District Hospital after a two-month illness. He lived on Ottawa Street in Midland and is survived by his wife Velma daughters Wanda and Marilyn Banks (of Oakville) and Ann Corbier (of Midland); and brother Jack Banks of Midland. He also had 20 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Place of burial was Wyebridge, Ontario. Stewart F.W. (wife Deenie); and daughters Helen (married to Morris Cyrlook) and Joanna (married to Peter Hughes). He also had 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Pallbearers at the funeral were grandchildren Fred, Walter and Bruce Stewart; and David, Darlene and Cathy Hughes. Stewart was born in Moonstone and was mar- ried Nov. 11, 1932 in New committee member Peggy Day has replaced John Dalrymple on Midland's committee of adjustment. Midland town council made the change official at its most recent meeting. Dalrymple retired from the committee before the end of his current term. Last December, he receiv- ed from the town a Town of Midland award of merit, from Mayor Al Roach. - Dalrymple was an original member of the committee created in 1964.
