Boucher and Dr. J. Gibson. Five-year service pins elected 'bencher" Midland lawyer Rod Ferguson has been elected as a bencher for the On- tario Law Society. The 42-year-old lawyer, a specialist in litigation of motor vehicle accidents, placed ninth out of 38 in the society's vote. His position on the Tim Kraan bench will be as part of a tribunal-like board which hears complaints about lawyers in the province. Ferguson was nominated by the Simcoe County Law Association. He has work- ed for the Teskey, Heacock, Ferguson and Main law firm since 1972. Effective May 8, Tim Kraan became the editor of the Midland Times. He completed recently his journalism studies at Humber College. The resident of Brampton was born in Collingwood.
