Surviving with Style was the title of the spring pro- ject. Surviving with Style is a 4-H project which teaches the skills needed to live happily and safely: simple home repairs, basic cooking, mending, house- keeping, car and bicycle maintenance, travel, wise buying, and other skills. Sprinkled among the young women at the meeting were young men. Linda Caldwell Lord, rural organization specialist with the Elmvale office of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, said that young men are not interested usually in 4-H courses. The Surviving with Style course offered information of interest to young men, too, she said. Midland Ontario Provin- cial Police Constable Roy Tyo addressed the group on the subject of personal and home safety. The 4-H program in On- tario is administered by the rural organization and ser- vices branch of the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Dog show Sunday Do you know what a Bichon Frise looks like?
