Church in Pines is welcoming Hazlett This Sunday's Church in the Pines service features Donna Hazlet. Hazlet is a United Church Diaconal Minister. She has served in Christian Education work in Central United Church in Woodstock, First United in Waterloo and in Collier United in Barrie. At Collier United in Bar- rie, Hazlet was, until recently, Minister of Evangelism and Pastoral Care. + Lawrence Quesnelle The Postmaster and Operator of the General Store in Phelpston for 22 years, Mr. Lawrence (Larry) Quesnelle, died Ju- ly 13, 1987, at the age of 61. Mr. Quesnelle was also known as an operator of school buses for the Sim- coe County Roman Catholic Separate School Board for 15 years. He died at his Phelpston, Ontario home. Larry Quesnelle was born .n Wyevale, Ontario to parents Oliver and Elizabeth (Charlebois) Quesnelle. He graduated from St. Michael's College in Toronto. He spent 18 months in the Merchant Marines. On April 10, 1950 Larry Quesnelle married Madeline Johnston at St. Patrick's, Phelpston. After marriage the couple spent their entire lives in the same town. Larry Quesnelle is sur- vived by wife Madeline Johnston, son Stephen Quesnelle and his wife Jen- nifer of Ottawa, daughters Gail Anne (Mrs. Jim Flewelling) of Wyevale, Laurie (Mrs. Don Graham) of Barrie, sister Kleo Hodgson R.N. of Toronto and grandchildren David 2 and Jill Flewelling. Funeral was held July 17, 1987 at St. Phelpston, with Rev. F. Turk officiating. Burial was at' St. Patrick's Phelpston. Pallbearers were Wilfred Lagacé of Port Severn, & Frank Craddock of Barrie, Jacques Chaput of Toronto, Dan O'Neill of Phelpston, Ray Townes of Phelpston and Bob Dumais of Phelpston. Special music was graciously provided by Brian Frawley and Maria Branje of Barrie and the St. Patrick's Choir. Alice Beauchamp Alice Mae Beauchamp of King Street in Midland passed away July 30, 1987. Mrs. Beauchamp was 83-years-old. She died after a two-week illness in Huronia District Hospital. She was born Alice Mae Johnston in Alpena, Michigan, to parents William and Mellie Johnston. On November 11, 1924 she married Herbert Joseph Beauchamp in her home town of Alpena. The couple then lived on King Street in Midland. Martial The late Mr. Martial Moreau of 46 Maria Street, Penetanguishene died July 20, 1987 at the Pene- tanguishene General Hospital following a brief illness at the age of 68 years. Mr. Moreau was born and raised in Perkinsfield and had lived in Midland for many years before com- ing to reside in Pene- tanguishene nine years ago Mr. Moreau, a carpet layer by trade, was a former long-time employee of Edwards Floor Cover- Gerald Wilson Kitchen Gerald Wilson Kitchen, formerly of R.R.2, Elmvale, died July 12 at the Pene- tanguishene General Hospital after a lengthy il- Iness. He was 77 years old. Mr. Kitchen was born in Matchedash Township to James Dudley Kitchen and Edith Caroline Briggs. He married Gladys Madeline Doan October 12, 1946 in Flos Township. The couple settled in Flos Township. Mr. Kitchen was a barber by trade. He spent a number of years working for the Ministry of Natural Mrs. Beauchamp was a member of St. Margaret's Church, a social member of the Midland Golf and Country Club and a member of the Ladies Aux- iliary at Huronia District Hospital. She is survived by son Jack Beauchamp of Midland, daughter Jeanne Ellen (Beauchamp) Wilson of Petawawa, seven grand- children and four great-grandchildren. Funeral was held Aug. 1, 1987 at St. Mark's Anglican Church, with Mareau ings of Midland. A member of St. Ann's Parish of Penetanguishene, Mr. Moreau was also a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Funeral Mass was held at St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene on August 1, 1987 with Rev. Father D. Picone as the celebrant of the funeral mass. Interment followed at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Pall Bearers were grand- son Stephen Buck, nephews Brian Parent and James Moreau' and Resources and was retired for the last 10 years. Mr. Kitchen is survived by wife Gladys Madeline; sons Bruce Wilson, R.R. 1, Lakefield, Ontario; Timothy Doan, Langley, B.C.; and Raymond An- drew, Orillia; brothers Nelson, Orillia; Reginald, Prince George, B.C.; Russell, Orillia; sisters Greta Robinson, Orillia; Mary Gibson, Trout Creek; Phyllis Allinson, Orillia; and six grandchildren. He was predeceased by sister Hilda Lovering, Page 18, Tuesday, August 11, 1987 Father Wayne Manne of- ficiating. Burial was at St. Margaret's Cemetery. Pallbearers were "grand- sons Bill Beauchamp of Midland, John Beauchamp of Midland, Pat Beauchamp of Midland, Allan Wilson of Petawawa, Jim Wilson of Kitchener and Tom Wilson of Kingston. Parish Prayers were held at the Nicholls Funeral Home, 330 Midland Avenue, Midland Friday July 31 at 7 p.m. Father Wayne Manne officiated. nephews and Godchildren Michael Hamelin, Jerry Moreau' and_ Ricky Larmand. Family: Wife Mrs. Marie (Genier) Moreau of Penetanguishene; Daughters - Mrs. Anita Dearling, Mrs. Shirley McCrimmon and Mrs. Carol Crawford, all of Midland; Son - Kenneth Moreau of Hamilton; brother - Norbert Moreau of Stroud. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. formerly of Calgary, Alber- ta and brother Arnold, formerly of Prince George B.G. Funeral service was held July 15 at the Lynn Funeral Home, Elmvale with Rev. J.C. Cooper officiating. Burial was in Elmvale. Pallbearers were Norris Doan, Port Perry; Ken Smith, Newmarket; Jeffrey Doan, Phelpston; Charlie Robinson, Orillia; Randy Kitchen, Orillia; and John Gibson, Oshawa, all Patrick's Generous tips Brothers Steven, left, and Simon Brown had sold $4.36 worth of lemonade on Saturday, when this photograph ° was taken.
