He last resided at Georgian Manor in Pene- tanguishene; he passed away at Penetanguishene General Hospital. Mr. Proulx was born in Penetanguishene, Ontario Oliver The late Mr. Oliver But- tineau of Highland Point, Tiny Township died November 19, 1987 at the Penetanguishene General Hospital following a lengthy illness at the age of 68 years. Mr. Buttineau lived most of his life at Highland to parents Delia and Her- man Proulx. His first marriage was to Rita Janet Demais; his se- cond to Albetine Gauthier. Mr: Proulx worked as a mechanic at O'Keefe Brewers and also worked at RCA Electronics. At the time of his death he had been retired for seven years. was an active donee of St. Margaret's Church, as well as a member of the Penetang- uishene Royal Canadian Legion Branch 68 and the seniors card group. As a private in the infan- try division during the Se- cond World War, he was wounded. He is survived by wife Nid Gauthier, son Michael Proulx, daughters Elaine Zabizewski and Jeanette Jennings, brothers Oliver Proulx and Cecil Gilbanks and _ three grandchildren. He is predeceased by his first. wife Rita Dumais, brothers Albert, Archie, Edmond, David and Joseph and sisters Angelina and Buttineau, 68 Point. He had been employed as a caretaker at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene for 25 years, until his retirement three years ago. Funeral Mass was held at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, Highland Point on November 23, 1987 with Rev. L. Dignard as the celebrant. Spring inter- ment will be at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Family: Wife Mrs. Rita (Carriere) Buttineau of Highland Point; Daughters Alda Cadieux of Balm Beach, Brenda Buttineau of Highland Point and Marcel Sauve, 62 The late Mr. Marcel Sauve of Toronto, age 62 years died at St. Michael's Hespital, Toronto on November 23, 1987 follow- ing a lengthy illness. Mr. Sauve, who was single, was born and rais- ed in Penetanguishene. While serving many years in the Royal Canadian Air- force, as a photographer, he lived in many Canadian centres and also in France. Mr. Sauve had been a resi- dent of Toronto for the last several years. Funeral Mass was held at St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene on Nov. 26, 1987 with Rev. A. Glaba as the celebrant. Spring interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Perkinsfield. Survived by' 16 nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Frank and Victoire (Marcotte) Sauve. Paul Brabant 88, of Penetang The late Mr. Paul Bra- bant of Penetanguishene died peacefully at the Georgian Manor, Penetanguishene on November 24, 1987 at the age of 88 years. Mr. Brabant was a life- long resident of Penetanguishene and had been a resident of the Georgian Manor for the last five years. Funeral Mass was held at St. Ann's Memorial Church, Penetanguishene on November 24, 1987 with Rev. D. McInnes as the celebrant. Celebrant in- terment will be at St. Ann's Cemetery, Penetanguishene. Pall bearers were Maurice Quesnelle, Mike Gingras, Leon Saulnier, Garry and Bill and Edward Brabant. Family: daughters Rose (Mrs. Doug Jordan) of Midland and Florence (Mrs. Henry Gingras) of Penetanguishene; Sons Louis Brabant of Midland and Lawrence Brabant of Toronto. Also survived by 17 grantchildren, 26 great- grandchildren and one great-grand-child.
